I have a wealth of experience working with children and young people, helping them through change and difficult times. 

Nothing is more important in our lives than our formative years and the families we grow up in. There can be many reasons why a child does not feel happy - but it's clear that the behavioural patterns we develop in childhood stay with us into adulthood, and that poor mental health can often be traced back to these patterns.


I have a gentle and reassuring manner which helps me form trusting relationships with children quickly. I can make a rapid assessment and am used to working with complex safeguarding issues. In a small number of sessions I can help a child to express emotions that are often deeply buried, helping them to understand a situation and develop a resilience to it.
